‘Hi I’m Dominic Collis and I am an archer. I started archery after the London 2012 Olympics whilst studying for my master in chemistry at the University of Southampton, where I got to compete across the south coast as well as in Australia whilst on placement at James Cooke University. I am now currently studying for a PhD at Queen Mary, University of London and compete for the University of London, as well as being elected to president of the club. I shoot across the Southern Counties at various tournaments, where this year as an individual and as a team I have been lucky enough to take home a lot of medals and have been selected to represent my county of Middlesex at the National and Regional county tournaments. I currently live out in Windsor where I get to shoot outdoors next to Her Majesty as well as Shooting in Kensington Palace grounds, so like to shoot with the Royals. Archery is a sport that matches my work, where you need to methodically and precise to get the result you desire.
