Congratulations to Danielle Joyce on a superb swim to break the World Record for 100 metre backstroke at the World Deaf Championships held in San Antonio, Texas. A special well done must go out to the rest of the 14-strong team who worked incredibly hard to make the squad. I know the squad wish to pass on their thanks to UK Deaf Sport, Swimming Times, Five Deaf Otters and the Black Farmers Company for much needed support.
The championships were held in sweltering 35c temperatures at poolside. The small part we played at Zeon was to supply the team with ultra-lightweight garments from our bCool Collection.
