Zeon Scottish Volleyball

Ground-breaking new sponsorship deal with Scottish Volleyball

Zeon Teamwear are delighted to announce a new partnership with Scottish Volleyball to provide the national teams with on court bespoke performance sportswear and off court leisure and travel apparel.

This three-year ground-breaking sponsorship deal will help promote both Scottish Volleyball and Zeon. We have a rich history of working in teamwear in the UK since 1984 and currently supply over 1,000 clubs across a wide variety of sports.

This deal, the first of its kind for both parties, sees us provide a tailored bespoke range of clothing designed to the exact specifications and needs of the modern volleyball player. We will achieve this by using advanced technical fabrics and state of the art sublimation printing techniques.

The process of fit and design is well under way. National team players have been instrumental in the design process. The new kit aims to embrace the Scottish Volleyball brand image and provide matching kit to both indoor and beach national teams.

“A special moment for our company.”

This is the phrase used by ZEON Teamwear managing director Reuben Herbert about the exciting new partnership with Scottish Volleyball. He added: ‘We are delighted to be able to officially announce our partnership with Scottish Volleyball. We have been working with players and staff for the past few months and have managed to get a sneak preview of some of their new brand materials and it confirmed we had made the right decision to enter in this partnership.

‘Everyone at Zeon is very excited about the partnership and impressed with the level of detail and thought the staff at Scottish Volleyball have put into the plan.’

CEO of Scottish Volleyball, Margaret Ann Fleming said: ‘This is a brilliant partnership that we have been working on the fine tuning for a number of months. Our previous kit supply deal ended in April and very quickly thereafter my staff identified Zeon as a potential partner.’

She added: ‘I have been really impressed with Reuben and his team, the investment in our sport is hugely welcomed at what has been and continues to be a difficult time for the industry.’

Raising the bar for the national teams.

Involving the players in the design of the national team clothing was first suggested by region development officer Blair Pettigrew. He said: ‘Knowing how Zeon work and the attention to detail they deliver, I wanted the players to be at the very heart of the design process.’

He went on to say: ‘Understanding what the national team needs and areas for improvement in previous kit designs allows us to get closer to the perfect garment to allow players to reach their maximum potential on court.’

A special Scottish Volleyball TV edition was shown on Monday 7th September at 7pm on Facebook with Zeon MD Reuben Herbert and some national team players who have been involved in the design.
